Pi Network – Is it time to give up? (Pi coin update 2021)

Pi Network has grown immensely since launching in early 2019. They now have over 10M engaged Pioneers who go on their app to mobile mine Pi coin every day. This has been a controversial project for several reasons though. No they are not a scam in the classic sense – they aren’t asking you to pay any money for using their app and earning their coins. But they aren’t a real cryptocurrency project yet either (can’t transact with Pi coins nor trade them on any exchange/market for any value). They also don’t have any open source code or any reason to believe that Pi coin will have value in the future. In this video I take a deep look into what they accomplished in 2020 and what they are looking forward to in 2021. Topics like their mining node software, integration of video ads, pi conventions, the provisional committee, the halving of the mining rewards, the bugs/errors with the app, the delays with launches, and much more. I’ll also share some top criticisms or cons of Pi cryptocurrency project that is my opinion and the opinion of other community members on Reddit/Twitter. Let me know what YOU think about Pi Network though now that it’s close to 2021 already!
