Charlie Chan pasta is a fusion dish with the spicy savory sauce prepared in an Asian way. It’s like a stir fry using spaghetti noodles with char siu sauce, chili garlic and sesame oil loaded with chicken meat and black fungus mushroom.

*400g to 500g of spaghetti noodles – P50.00
*1/2 of a block of butter – P21.50
*5 cloves minced garlic – P5.00
*1 onion, sliced – P5.00
*1/4 kl chicken fillet, cubed – P45.00
*50g to 100g of tengang daga or black fungus mushroom – P20.00
*1/2 cup oyster sauce – P5.00
*3 tbsp water
*1 tbsp – chili garlic sauce – P5.00
*1 1/2 char siu sauce – P5.00
*2 tbsp brown sugar- P2.00
*1/4 cup sesame oil – P10.00
*1 chicken cube – P5.00
*1 tbsp chili flakes or chili sauce – P2.00
*1 red bell pepper, diced – P10.00
*1/4 cup whole cooked peanut – P10.00

Cost of ingredients: P210.50
Overhead Cost (40% of ingredients cost for elec, water, gas and fare) : P84.20
Total Cost: P294.70 x 1.7 (tubo) = P500.99
Selling Price per Recipe = P500 to P600 for half kilo recipe or you will come up with 6 500ml microwaveable containers that you can sell for P100 to P120 each tub.
